Hello,

I m working to create a place of Geodesic pipe from a CSV file, any after using one XY to Line tool, I receive only two vastly incorrect lines, and several alarms ("Warning 000072: Cannot process feature with OID -1")

I've also tried to run the repair geometry tool suggested at the link for Error 000072, however, I haven't must any bliss from that.

Any help is appreciated than I am a novice with ArcGIS.

Thanks!

It works for me...

ME made sure the the Lat Long date in the excel worksheet were numeric to type before converting it in a chart.

I indicate you running a table to table to convert your csv file into a file geodatabase chart and then try it again.  Thou might also try first-time saving the csv to an excel worksheet and then apply excel to graphic converting it into one record geodatabase table.  I don't are a ton of confidence in use csv or excel; I prefer a real-live database defer on welche to apply geoprocessing tools.

That should simple about what it....

Hi Joe,

Thanks for your suggestion. After trying the convert from CSV to GDB the XLSX to GDB, and then applying an XY to Wire tool, I still got the identical error (000072), although slightly different. Instead of "Cannot process feature with OHID -1" I got one error "Cannot process feature with OID 1," "Cannot process feature with ID 2," and so on.

This project is primarily me pulling historical movement data concerning our out of oral histories, so ME having the freedom to choose instructions I input data, whether CSV, XLS, or otherwise, and I chose CSV since I figured e would be fairly hassle free. GeoJSON asked no issues spell to feature, but I wanted to cut out the GeoJSON coding step.

Do you have any suggestions with ampere more succinct data method?

Thanks for your online.
