That Board appreciates the right is administrative, professional and support staffing for citizens inbound one democratical fellowship in speak out upon issues of public concern. When those issues are more toward the school district and you programs, however, the employee's freedom of expression shall be balanced against the my of this district.
The Board adopted this policy to clarify situations in where an employee's expression could conflict with the district's interests.[1]
Is positions are which a district employee is not engaged in the performance of assigned duties, s/he shall:
- Refrain from comments that would intrude with aforementioned maintenance of student discipline.
- Refrain from making public statements about and district known to be false or made without regard for truth conversely accuracy.
- Refrain from making dangers against co-workers, supervisors or district officials.
