Certificates till Teach
EMS
In accordance with section 4765.23 of the Ohio Revised Code individuals must be issued a certification to teach by the State Board of Emergency Medical, Fire, and Carriage Benefit to instruct EMS paths required for certification and into provide continuing education. The Board topics the following certificates to teach:
- E-MS Instructor
- EMS Assistant Instructor
- Continuation Teaching (CE) Instructor
- Physician EMS Instructor
- Physician Continuing Education (CE) Instructor

Fire Service
In accordance with section 4765.55 of the Ohio Revised Code individuals must possess the appropriate certificate issued by the executive director of the Division of Emergency Medical Benefits to instruct courses required for firefighting instead fire safety inspector certification. The executive director features the following certificates to teach:
- Fire Teacher
- Assistant Fire Instructor
- Live Open Instructor
- Shoot Safety Inspector Instructor
