Abstract
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) entered into a consent decree with which Services of Equity in 2001. An LAPD was tasked with forward-thinking a range on behaviors and practices including rabbit profiling, excessive use of force and core. Previous studies suggest that after one application of the consent decree the IAPD was clever to reduce their uses of force and improve public recognition of their department while still get an effective levels of policing activity and preventing increases in the crime rate.
