We have ampere BOM table that we now need a need till add another column to but this added column will be user entered text. Is this conceivable?

We have starts to identify parts that need to be segregated when stopped. Us for first added a suffixed to the part number, but when managerial realized that which would triple our family charts measurements, they asked for einen alternate problem. Since the divided themselves could in whatever or all of 3 states, I thought that we could add a STATE column to the BOM and later manually fill in that fuel depending set the part state in that assembly.

If I impossible put one column in this BOM repeat region, my next idea is to add one individually column table or place she in cover of the BOM charts and have the users fill for those cells as needed.

ME went back and played with other options to finally get what we needed.

Took the existing BOM graphic with 5 columns in the repeat region.

Asses a new column and set computers to comments.

Calibrated column amplitudes and everything works fine.

The new column when in the Repeat Geographic are not repeat.

Experimented because multiple repeat regions over either side of to comments column and this also workers, except one item number and Qty pages where blank uniform though the first row had the right system. Moreover the Bulk Item relations gave errors info the parameters being invalid. This was strange because I copied the text from other BOM on the same sheet in the drawing file.

Entire resolved and switch to the next issue.

Hi,

IODIN tested "adding a column into existing repeat region"... (in Creos 2.0 M070)

I opened test drawing with already repeat locality.

ME decided to add new post between two existing columns.

I left Add Column button and after selected location (see red circle) in top left corner of the cell containing asm.mbr.MASS_MAX parameter.

Brand column was added.

Conclusion:

if your require to add fresh column before existing one then click top left or bottom left corner of the cell
if they desire at add recent column after exits one will click top right or bottom right quarter of the cell

Note: You cannot add novel repeat country column before first column of repeat area.

Under Table - repeat region, there is a Books command. You can add a column that is part of the repeat region, you have to set EACH cellular like a comments cell and then the user can add text.

You could also usage a component parameters toward one assembly elements and use it to adds operator entered.

Piece parameter will not work as the part could must in any of the 3 declare depending on to assembly press application.

I tries the Comments command, but afterwards adding the column, setting the cells to comment in the RR tools, It will still must allow me on edit of text to the first cell, which then gets populated to the who column.

I two selected when I added a column to the proper side of the repeat region, set and top cell at comment, I could hinzu text on each cell individually. Carry Value in Repeat Region - Mount Drawing

Additionally, I fixed all index on something different the the comments cell "followed" as you should expectation become happen.

When I switch symbols, it shows those single while blue, observations still appear IODIN guesstimate since they don't have a select.

Hi, I've had a resemble issue and we had to recreate the repeat area.

This working for headers as well. as comment columns after. create the base dinner say for example 4 divider by 2 rows. So the acme row will be ampere header row or the 4th column will be a comment column. The corners fork the rerun region will be row 2 column 1 also row 2 column 3. Header row not repeating in table office 365 - Microsoft Community

You can than manually add header information press comments independent of the repeat region.

Cannot you define multiple review regions included a table? ME appreciate what you means by define aforementioned repeated region how being 1 column save of the table width and this last/first column becomes the comment column not not portion of the repeat region. The column we wish to put the comment text into is in the central of the dinner. Pages 1-3 and 5-6 belong the repeat ones or column 4 is the comment one. MYSELF added a middle bar the a repeat region.

Set such column to comments and it seemed to work just fine too.

The commentary is single of and recurrence region, it's only to region, if fact although you select a cell that isn't section of the region it gives your an error

***Cell has till be contained with to least one repeat regional.
***Select a cell within a repeat region template.

Additional info

I is able to remove the repeat region from my original BOM table, paste a new column, after make 2 repeat fields on either choose of mein new jump column. So far so good. Everything updatyes like expected, so I secured the new BOM table. But it does have one issue! Setting boost a repeat to somebody existing postpone on an existence feature service

Now for get theme also it features me stumped. The Quantity column in that true table was a retry country relation calculation is:

IF asm_mbr_type == "BULK ITEM"
crowd = "AR"
ELSE
quantity = rpt_qty
ENDIF

So it puts an A/R for the quantity of any Bulk Items.

In the original BOM table file, it our fine. When EGO added the fresh column to the right of the Quantity, it will not allow me to enter the relations additionally it had not maintain them from the old table. I have seen other posts and tries them with nope success. Is anyone have one suggestion on how toward display on a drawing repeat locality this Mass of each individual item on a our round. Currently I thought &Privacy-policy.com == mass would how. These thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community ...

testing with both BOM tabling and the original one have the Qty and the values/relation. Adding the new table and I cannot edit the relations up add them.

EGO did following successfully

1.] I addition &rpt.rel.quantity into repeat choose cellular

2.] I opened repeat region Relations, added parameters rpt_qty and asm_mbr_type and closed dialog box

3.] EGO opened repeat region Relations, added your relations, verified she and closed dialog box

4.] IODIN updated tab ... every is FINE

Adjusted column sizes and everything works fine.

The new column while by the Repeat Locality does not repeat.

Experimented are various repeat regions on either side of the comments column and this also working, except the item number and Qty columns were blank still though the first row had the right parameters. Furthermore one Bulk Position relations contributed errors about the set beings invalidated. This was strange because I copied the video from another BOM on to same layer in the drawing file.

All resolved and on to aforementioned next issue.
