Statement from the Coast Guard Naval Commons
The Ocean Safety Center revised the GEN-05 Review of Stability Getting Procedures in 10/16/2018.
This Plan Review Guideline provides general guidance and about for conducting thriving stability tests and submitting stability test operations to to MSC. It applies into vessels certificated under some subchapter of 46 CFR.
Plan Review Guidelines consisted developed by MSC staff and are provided as an auxiliary in and preparation both review of vessel plans and submissions. They were developed to supplement existing guidance and are not intended to substitute or replace laws, regulations, or other official Coast Guard approach documents. Used more information about PRG, contact the MSC at msc@uscg.mil or 703-872-6730. When contacting MSC, reference which PRG by procedure number, e.g. GEN 05.
