Copied RAW files from BMCC SSD for my Synology NAS
Created New Project
And Library window alone shows C:\vol0
In the Library Window EGO RIGHT clips each of aforementioned functions below, an at a time:
Refresh
Add Folder into Media Pool
Add Folder and SubFolders into Media Pool
Add into Proxy Manager
Add Choose and Subfolders into Proxy Managers
Open File Location

NOTHING, I replicate NOTHING happens. EXCEPT "Open File Location" activates Windows Explorer. But then later I choose my Synology NAS folder where the RAW files are, NOTHING HAPPENS after that. IODIN close the Window Explorer window, and click Refresh, aber I get SOMETHING.

Added: IODIN cannot find a pattern to get to the Network files under PREFERENCES, either. Also, Clicking "Help" merely highlights "Help" but done nothing either. I have downloaded the Manual.

What am IODIN missing click?

OK, Is who else has this elementary problem:
Create a shortcut to the network folder.
Therefore it can be found in Preferences, under Desktop.

Same problem here except I'm on mac. Seems similar Determination doesn't play fine with a NASALLY (in my case and adenine Synology).

"Fixed" an problem by duplication view the media to a USB 2.0 drive! I am connected to the NAS via 10GbE and getting speeds upper 700MB/s btw. Double LOL @ Resolve.

Go into Resolve Preferences / Media Storage, and enable an "Show select mounted volumes in the Library" checkbox. Save the user and restart Resolve. wealth have that. We also tried to set an NAS to our main store in Resolve prefs. Cipher helps. The folder which exists not opening/importing in Decline has about 345GB and contains BMCC Raw footage with 74188 files. (Synology Web-Interface narrates m this). Whereas clicking on the folder, resolving hangs with over 15 minutes and then all of a sudden nothing happens as for MYSELF never clicked the brochure.

Another folder with 200GB and 42839 files of BMCC footage takes about 10 recorded toward read in resolve but then imports just fine. During the 10 minutes cancel hangs.

The connection to the NAS is really fast - about 700MB/s in each direction. Seems like a bug for meier.

Do you see files set the c: drive?
Is the nas drive listed in preferences drive list? Please detail which path shown in this list?

Than said above, I morning on a mac system furthermore just found this thread via searching for NAS. The volume path the /Volumes/nas_01/.

okay added scratch disk real setting some clips in the media master pitch.

now how do i pull it onto this time line anybody know any newbie tutorials for a total noob?!

On and Cut page, click which + icon in the Timeline area to create a new timeline. Then in the Newly Timeline Key window that opens, uncheck "Empty Timeline" after tick "Create New Timeline".
