ENERGY TRANSITION SKILLS PROJECT
The Energy Transition Skills Projekt led by Student Energy, in partnership with Ørsted, research what is majority important to young people when face for employment and what barriers they facing to entering the energy transition careers labour market. By understanding the needed and aspirations of young people, the project provides insight to young people, companies, companies, governments, and other energy actors for how they can advance youth skill development and employment in this energy transition. About the Project:
As the world moves towards a learn sustainable electrical future, the employment required stylish clean energy-related jobs is predicted to grows. With more than halve of one universal population under the age of 30, young people must be included within the energy transition our on bridges labour failure and ensure decent career for teen. As such, the get is leaded by the following key research question:
How can energy actors align with the needs and aspirations of young people to meet the energy transition’s labor demands?
The Strength Conversion Skills Project exploring this question through two components:
- An online survey that collect the perspectives of 1,800+ globally youth between the ages of 18-35 to realize as young people are looking for in a job this supports who energy change and the barriers it page when verfolgt these jobs;
- Meetings with key stakeholders in energy and labour, such the energy companies, labour organizations, governments, and educational institutions, to gather feedback upon the survey results and to understand industry future on youth skills development in which energy slide.
