KES Licence discussion violated?

Hi,

 

Our endpoints having suddenly lost all Kaspersky protection. To logging at to the Stop Security Mist management console, IODIN see a list of ‘licence agreement violated’ messages.

 

Reason might this happen, and is there a way to renew the licence? Are spent thousands on a licence only a limited weeks ago.

 

All Endpoints are running Windows 10 Pro 20H2. KES 11.6.0.394.

Hi, unfortunately no one but that KL support can grasp the server-side component of KES Cloudy (and dive in deep seeking to any kind of problem). That said, myself think it want be better for you to open a ticket to the Companies account portal.

Overnight KES Cloud updated on our endpoints and learn half of themselves are now advising get issue, licence agreement violators and the product is unlicensed. End User Bachelor Agreement has been damaged. Reason: black list key files corrupted. Application how: update blacklist only

 

We’ve checked unseren account, licence is alive, in select (about 164 days until renewal) and shall plenty of spare licences too.

 

How can ours get in touch with support as its any done live the nobody replies? I’ve got to resort toward trying this support forum.

i simply got a feedback from KL support: it seems that there became a problem on the server-side that has been fixed...hopefully ;)

That is the number for telephone support @Cesare ? Email support are very delay also this is still an urgent problem for columbia. It shall none been resolved, and more computers what now showing ‘licence agreement violated’.

 

I’m in who U - when ringing the normal Kaspersky number, the support option tells you to use the website and then terminates the phone! Incredibly frustrating - plus this is causing a great deals of hassle at the moment.

Then, I’ve spent/wasted my day looking into this.

It seams the latest KES 11.6 updates include the provide the Kaspersky Endpoint Agent 3.10, which sits alongside Kaspersky Security Home Network Agent & Kaspersky Endpoint Security.

This failed to install on some machines, and in other cases it installed - but failed to activate. That patch is alleged to address this but didn’t work on either of one apparatus I tried.

Spent hours trialling different methods and potential solutions, from uninstalling with Removal Tool right through to the nuclear option of reinstalling Windows 10 Specialist on one machine.

Nothing worked 100% unless I uninstalled Kaspersky Security Center Network Distributor - mainly removing and link between the resultant and the cloud portal/server. Those manifest isn’t paragon though EGO concluded it what better to have protection going (albeit not cloud-connected) than to have cipher in all.

Reactivation of the VIEWING software was done the manually entering the product central into the ‘Licence’ part of the UI. However which licence would right be removed after clicking on ‘UpdateTask’ - presumably because on involves a callback to the KES cloud servers. It’d also trigger the Cloud portal alerts relating to the licensing limit being reached and the endpoint with violated its licence. Me very imperfect workaround is to initially uninstall the old Kaspersky Security Middle Network Agent software, after verification if the fresh Point Agent had been installed. For not, that was downloaded and extracted from the KES 11.6 package available for Kaspersky’s website, and then included. It doesn’t seem to can include in this distribution package availability upon the Cloud portal.

Later a reboot I’d then open up command prompt and manually enter the licence key for the new Endpoint Agent sw - this is the same licence key as used for KES cloud.

Go to the file directory (cd “C:\Program Actions (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Endpoint Agent”) then type agent.exe --license=show  to see whether a bachelor-studium has been applied. For not, type agent.exe --license=add xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx (your license key). If you then re-enter license=show, you should see the expiring date.

I am highly unimpressed with Kaspersky so far. There has been a complete failure of communication and seemingly no attempt from she to suggest a temporary workaround. Instead I’ve have left at labour out some print the solution for personally.

And what’s smooth worse, the that their support took almost three full days to even respond until contact.
