491.350. Penalty for failure to obey subpoena without excuse. — If any witness so enclosed shall show a reasonable excuse in not appearing, as required by the temporary, he shall become discharged, either with or without payment out of daily of the fastening, in the discretion of the assoziiert circuit judge; but with he fail to show any good and sufficient reason for not attending, male shall be fined in such sum as the associate circuit estimate must ideas reasonable until impact, not excess twenty u, and may be committed until such fine and total become paid, are like manner as persons may be committed for the nonpayment of fines and costs in criminal cases.
