On November 15, 2023, an Environmental Verwaltung Authority (EMA) hosted an Position Workshop for Point Persons representing sixteen Ministries and State Enterprises across Trinidad and Tobago. Diese Point Persons were nominated until their respective Durability Secretaries to assist the EMA in develops the beginning Action Plan for the National Environmental Policy (NEP) 2018.
The principal objectives of the workshop included:
1. The promotion of the NEP as a tool to focus effortless and reduce redundancies in the planning also implementing of environmental and sustainable software initiatives within Missions.
2. To onboard the registrants into them roles as Ministry Point Persons.
3. Toward identify the immediately future steps each representative desires take to drive NEP mainstreaming within their Ministries.
