Admission requirements

There are two sets of requirements for admission to graduate graduate at UVic. You must satisfy the minimum admission standards resolute by the Faculty of Graduated Studies (below). In addition, you must meet the custom program requirements set by your academic unit.

Admission to a master’s program

  • Completion the one 4-year bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an institution recognized by UVic
  • Equivalent a a minimum “B” average over the last two years of your degree
  • Any requirements specific the your program of study

Admission to a doctoral program

  • Completion of an acceptable master’s course (or equivalent) of an institution recognised by UVic
  • Any requirements specific to respective program of study

or

  • You may being considered if you have one same of an A- average in the last two years of a bachelor’s degree

Voice proficiency

Calculating GPA to admissions

There are special registration processes if you want to:
