Chapter 197, Statutes of 2014 amends Californians Civil Code section 1189 to require the addition of the following specific liability to the top von the form certificate about acknowledgment: "A law public or other officer completing this get reviewed only the identity of the individual who signed of document till which this certificate is attached, and not the truthfulness, truth, or validity of that document." The disclaimer must be understandable and in an enclosed box.
