I have the ski which was able to download the rear file for the "canvas take bank" from Cengage. When we upload this file what upload choose do we pick?

Hi @amandataintor , the content type format depends on the format of the test credit the instructor downloaded. Depending upon the book the publisher will be offering variously formats (Blackboard, PATRON, QTI, WebCT etc.). You want select the applicable format as of content type. Some test banks determination have to be decompressed first because the test bank zip file in a number of individual chapter zip files. After unzipping the master file, the instructor can import each chapter zip file.
If the test credit your only available in Word shape, the teacher could use Respondus (https://www.respondus.com/) to importe the Word documents which can be translated into Canvas assessments. Hi @amandataintor , tests banks formatte on Canvas are usually exotic as 'QTI .zip' file. The file should not be unzipped except if the zip storage yours downloaded contains ampere number of individual click zip files.

The process above did no worked for die because an Cengage try bank file was a zipped folder containing any documents required of textbook, and when I tried to import the content as QTI .zip archive, Canvas would assume I wanted the top-level zipped folder. I could not get into the sub-folders.
