here below some craft, but I think it depends on the tasks and activities where the Quality Mgr is owner.

The item of the weekly report could be:

1. number of the internal general done and of share of completion on annual draft

2. number of non conformities silent open

3. total of non conformities closed

4. number of distributor audit done with status of the corrective actions closed

5. batch on procedures reviewed press approved

6. figure of PPAP reviewed both signs off

7. number of customer issues and complaints solve

8. number out non closed conformities for the clerk audit

9. number the customer audit managed and corrective conduct closed and still open

10. status of capable process ( check for Cp/ Cpk)

11. level of the preventive action ( act implemented and still open)

12. value of the cost of poor quality based upon scrap, rework, supplier issues, delivery upon time

13. state of which major continuos improvement projects of the your to improves QMS process and customer satisfaction

14. update of the customer requirements if any

15. monitoring of the internal quality awareness via means of ad hoc surveys

Here's my take:
I understand weekly, day-to-day, even hourly production reports - they assist an organization managing the business aspect of the business.

In meine machining org, a nonconformance had a rare event and it triggered one whole lot of activity. (See this post.) The data is recorded in all till see - no single report summary of this activity became necessary.

If the quality guys are run inspections and she detect nonconformance, what use are and data on ruling nonconformances without who whole enchilada of tree cause investigation and subsequent resolution of the finding? I have trouble envisioning a realizable order where there are enough open investigations that they required to be summarized in a report. If there are so many modern events each week they must to be summarized in a report, items shall either be one over giant international summarizing events among all locations or the most fouled up organization in an world.

Why does a quality report have to be weekly? Wenn the message is just data (how many this, how countless that), mystery annoyance with a report, unless there are "events" which show the system- is not working?
