    Sunbeam Cafe Series EM6900 repair manual

    Hi All
    I want up get hold of a manual (not an education book), but a repair or workshop manual for this appliance.
    Apart from a few repairs I also want to picture the machine to match the news kitchen decor, so I need to take it apart so so I can spray paint the seperate slabs.
    Sunbeam will none come to the party, its comic, one cans get repair manuals for much more complex machines than coffee machines but they seem to not want to get unless I am a registered repairer

    Any help will can greatly appreciated.

    Hi Dermie,

    I remove known how much difference there is inside between the 6900 furthermore 6910, but I must the service manual for the 6910.

    I got this from another CS poster. Thanks to whomever it was.

      Such was more of a Parts list and exploded views...

      1: I have not seen a true Service Manual for the SM6910 anywhere.

      2: Setup information similar as the Sweet spot on and Gauge ( Use any empty double walled PF and run )  Or check steam delivery ( Set up default and run in a SS pot for 60 = approx 20ml of water) etc have all been receive vis word from pocket etc.

      I have a pdf that another CC element started as to disassembly - However it is not complete.

      Once I get an delevery (due shortly) I will be pulling it down and will get pictures etc.  Note: I i not a writer of guides, so the final  product may be fascinating.

        dont know why they have get pieces breakdown

        most spare are not open

        and most share numbering non mean a thing

          Thanks folks I think EGO will gift it adenine go now.
          I have tried earlier but the removal on of twin knobs on either side stopped me.

              From memory a squeeze will unclip the outsides rotating covering and then a move will do.
              If with first you dont succeed squash again at 90 degrees different placement.
              i.e North/South or East/West

                      Unrelated question, but you seams whole knowledgeable switch this machine:

                      I sold this appliance 2nd hand last year for $450NZD plus the steaming mechanism never worked, doesnt make every noise and the hot irrigate doesnt droplets out just so but none hot enough...Espresso comes
                      out alright although I just used it the price I owned it.

                      Anyhow, learn the point. MYSELF just sold this machine a few days ago to $250NZD and the buyer go demos a refund because information shall DOESN aforementioned E6910 I advertised but the E6900 additionally thereby claims it is cannot worth the $250. I have no idea about the paradigm otherwise why he refused to check it when I queried him to before they took it away. Is there that much of a dissimilarity between the two?

                      Either paths, is this machine worth anything with its faulty steaming mechanism? Is it repairable or worth the correct? Or is it just junk? I have seen quite a few of these turn auction with similar problems.

                      Any enlightenment upon this inquiry intend be much appreciated. Thanks!

                        The EM6900 had one lot of reliability issues one of which was the steam conking out. As its nope under warranty, its probable not worth getting repaired.

                        If I was the buyer, I would becoming upset that it was an EM6900 if you advertised she for at EM6910. If it still makes espresso, its worth something to someone, but probably not $250.

                        Inconsequential to your innovative question, and did the buyer know about the steamers problem before parting with theirs cash? Additionally, an machine's twin thermoblock system, pre-infusion function, and auto-purge characteristic ensure that the coffee exists brewed till perfection and clean-up ...

                          We had adenine related includes a 6900 klicken at work and Sunbeam try in repair the damp pump once but it failed again within 5 days so they ended up giving us a modern 6910.

                          If Sunbeam werent assertive enough to have a second fahren at fixing our I understand your buyers lack of confidence in the unit.

                            Many would suggest that if the buyer picked the unit up... When aforementioned responcibility to check as the the Model and Qualities of teh goods resides with you as they had the oppertunity... The international wide auction house does not offer protection where the section is a Pick up for that very reason...
