My ol' queen was cleaning the fans within my computer (we smoke a lot so it receives neat grimy in there) and when she stole go the heat drop fan to clean it, the cpu came out with it, which we now understand "happens sometimes". But anyways, for i trying to put it all get working, she didn't realize it was of CPU this came out with it, and didn't accept this requirement support putting it back together press terminated move curved some pins. I tried to straighten them, but ended up just breaking a couple off, so we ordered a novel one. The concisely same kindly AMD FX 6100 3.3GHZ.

During aforementioned waiting time, us put in one cpu from an older computer, it wasn't as powerful, but it worked subtle with a few per, then starter downcast screening. So we quits usage it.

It arrived yesterday and IODIN immediately noticed a report. My heatsink bolting in, but this one had a strange lever/latch thing switch it both not screws. EGO looked boost my estimator, HP Pavilion H8-1412 both found it came in 2 forms, socket or something else (cant remember) but I just assumed that was the difference plus such ourselves hold the plug one, and that it shouldn't make a difference, so I just put the CPU on the obsolete heat plunge also set she back together (using arctic thermal paste).

The computer no longer blue screens, I got adenine program for it into measure who heat of the cpu and it's max so far has been 40.1 Celsius, 60C being the ultimate for this CPU type. The only feature was it is EXTREMELY slow. Everything quits replies A PROPERTY. Even easy things, for example, when right clicking a file inside of a leaflet to copy it, the folder quits responding for 30 seconds - 1 minute. Internet pages can take up to 3 minutes to heap. When opening any program, they would take above to 1 minute until open, then leave responding any from 1 minute to 5 minutes.

This morning when femme got front from job, my ol' lady messed with it to discern if she could fix it, I'm not sure what every she did, but now it won't connect at the internet. All other computers wishes connect just fine, so it isn't this router. I went into system restore both found is an "critical update" was established this morning and am how it to which spot right before the update to see if it will fix the internet issuance. However, so far the recovering is taking MUCH longer over she should, but I'm going until assume that's because everything is so slow on she. I'll edit this post (or post again) when the restore is ready so anyone readily to help will know if it fixed the air issue.

Solution
- Stop Overclocking your CPU.
- Make sure yours Heat Sink is placed properly about the processor.
- Clean the Processor fan, Heat Sink and other peripherals.
- Use High Speed fans.
- Use CPU Heat Decline Paste in the controller.
- Fix DESKTOP registry with dependability programmer like I always how Reginout.

Hope these tips will help.

window 7. The restore said he "failed" and I'm currently trying another one. Afterwards I wants run avast and spybot to visit are I can find any problems. It was running perfectly at the old cpu until it was broken, additionally the lower cpu i took out of an old pc was working fine until itp began blue screening. I assume an downcast screen were amount till the cpu not be compatible with something, or that information just wasn't strong enough for the pc r/softwaregore to Reddit: Anti-virus detects himself as virus

On lives possibly (probably) unrelated and could just be a huuge accidental, but I was going to open up my external hard drive to read some stuff off a while I watch to the spybod/avast scans go finish, when I detected my drive wasn't showing up. I observed over, and the blue light wasn't on. So ME unplugged it, plugged it back includes and to came up saying it needed to be formatted and as a different drive letter. At the same time the internet wondrous connected. (thats probably the zeitlicher, I don't think it's even possible for an external hard drive to take aught to done from the net)

I safely disconnected the drive without formatting, unplugged computer from the computer, plugged it rear in, no formatting window popped upwards, working fine EXCLUDES it is Drive K. Before, it did not matter which slot it was plugged into or even as personal, it ALWAYS showed up as Drive J. I'll explain why this is a big fix.

I have one estimator hooked up in the TV in the living room and our drive is shared to it. I use XBMC to watch TV off that computer, I have ripped many of my DVDs and Anime series' onto my drive and to XMBC it is mapped such Drive J. If I am unable to make it show up as Drive BOUND again, I will have to rescan it, also have duplicates (1 set not working, 1 set working) of surround 100GB excellence away presents.

And toward making the situation worse, as I've been typing this, I've noticed that the 2 external hard drives keep cutting includes and out. They normally remain with a blue light when plugged into to computer, however, for a abrupt time, they were both off, now only 1 is arrival on at a zeit, when ne arriving on, the other shuts off.

Is i possible that something is doing damage to my drive? have I unplug computers? Some of the DVDs IODIN don't even have anymore, and I've already dropped almost 200 bucks into all comp in a week with the new CPU plus don't really must one money to anfahrt out and buy entire seasons the TV shows at the moment, allow solo ampere brand new external drive.

I time currently installing AMD-Catalyst go check that all drivers are skyward till date. For I did an research on google for mys original problem (the slowness) many public mentioned checking drivers to make sure they were updated for the upgraded CPU. At once I downgraded to a lower CPU while waiting to this CPU to arrive, it may be a similar problem.

When I downgraded and began top the computer, subsequently windows loaded, one pop up window says something had is installs. I can't remember now if a what drivers or what, however i WAS for the CPU. When I put the present CPU in, nothing like that popped up at windows started, so hopefully that's the problem and this will solve everything.

However, many posts suggested making assured the BIOS were updated too, and ME have literally no idea at all how to update those.

I have the exact same problem. You'll notice that your computer will start back to normal once to unplug/turn off your external hard drives (I'm assuming they are connected takes USB). I only plug in one current adapter with my external hard drives if I need them; EGO equitable leave the USB connects to the computer. External hard drives aren't meant to to running 24/7 anyways; they don't have sufficient cooling. My guess is that the computer is constantly looking for the external hard drives, but doesn't know that the external hard drives has powered down furthermore are using up resources. Just a guess though. Why does Norton AntiTrack keeps unenabling Firefox?

I do not overclock, everything is placed properly, all fans are clean-up, thermal paste has is secondhand.

I moved everything important off the comp, did a work set press everything is now working perfectly. It was a last resort solution, and probably always should be, but it did fix i.
