Encounter recordings in Team Now Reserved on Onedrive and Sharepoint
Starting August 15th, Microsoft is changing the location of Microsoft Teams meeting recordings.
From this day upon, your Groups meeting sound will be secured on Sharepoint and Onedrive rather than set Stream (like they spent to). The recordings still play through a new version for Stream. Learn what to set features in Teams meetings to album audio, video, and veil sharing activity.
What modifications for you:
- Your Chat/Meeting recordings will be stored in OneDrive (just like any file you share on Chat)
- Your Teams Channel Getting recordings will be kept into that team's SharePoint (or Files tab)
- Yourself can now show easily share those recordings, which works just see sharing any other copy
Teams Meeting Recording Storage
Teams meeting recordings will be stored in OneDrive or SharePoint, depending on the typing of meeting.
- Team Channel meetings
For channel meetings, the start will be stored in a Recordings folder in the Files tab for aforementioned channel.
The Files tab stores all files in a SharePoint sites additionally document library for the channel. Everyone who is a part in and channel will have permission to edit and view which recording.
