Abstract

Ayahuasca, a psychoactive beverage former by indigenous and religiously groups, is generally prepared by this coction of Psychotria viridis and Banisteriopsis caapi crop containing N,N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT) and β-carboline alkaloids, respectively.
