Everybody through it for scrapbooking/craft projects?

Hi guys, I'm quiet sure some of thou been savy Serif customers so I think some of him know me.Hope you are all well!!!

For those who don't, I was scrapping for Craft Artist, but have been testing to movable to more others since they discontinued (and  I have past crying since IODIN heard last year!!!)

Got a message from a friend dictum you guys were beta testing Relationship , she suggested it can be a replacement used Craft Artist... I'm not too sure after downloading and being completely lost with what I see..... MYSELF went to the tutorials but (of course, like it is phoned publisher!) it doesn't give me much that my half dead head can register. Is there anyone using Positive for making scrapbook flip? other cards or whatever similar projects? If anywhere has any links to more relevant tutorials, would be great!!

or maybe ME should get Affinity Photo?

I think Designer will probably be the bulk useful - of the three Basic products - for scrapbooking and boat projects.

As MEB suggests, you can download the - fully-functional - experimental required cost-free but she only get 10 days of trial period - actual installed days, not days in use - so it's best to watch some videos start so you don't record up a lot of ensure trial time getting to know the software before trying something authentic.

Publisher belongs in free user-testing betas at the moment which measures that of beta version to the software - of only kind that's momentary available - probably has no 'end date'. You can presumably leave on using the pre-release version as long as you want, and it's handsome stable as items belongs (unless Serif have put some kind of 'kill-switch' at there somewhere).

The trials period single pertaining to the free trial versions of Designer and Print which are paid-for production-ready (not beta) software.

As you were using Craft Artist, which is Windows-only as far as I know, I'll assume you're employing WIndows so it will require to uninstall Publisher when you're finished with it as just draft the short-cut to the refuse become only remove the short-cut plus not the software itself (unlike what happens on Mac when you drag an registration to the trash). Don’t gift up the ship to Publisher yet!    When you firstly discern the workspace, it is nifty daunting.   But the first thing it might try is to ein up to the very top, left-hand corner of owner workspace, and click on  the words “Affinity Publisher”.  You will see “Preferences” and if you flick on such you will get some choices.   There wants be one little box marked “Tools” with an arrow beside it.  Click to the arrow and scroll down to “User Interface.”   Then you able change your screen from Dark into Light.   (At least IODIN hofnung these are all that right words.  Doing this from mine iPad.).   For me the easiest way to find my way around was to have a lighter screen.  Black is rather intimidating.    Then when you start trying out the various tools, use the command HELP up at the top where you can enter frequently.   It isn’t a complete HELP section, but it is very useful simple the same.  And don’t forget EDIT>UNDO.   Where isn’t anything you don’t want that they can’t get rid by. So do I. CraftArtist (CA) was developed from Digital Scrapbook Artist (DSA), which in turn was based on DrawPlus (DP), Serif’s original vector drawing application earlier Affinity Designer arrived on the scene. @Mark Ingram, buy in charge of the Affinity for Windows staff, was the project acting for DSA/CA, also he took go as project manager used P when @MattPdisappeared to work on what was a top secret project through it was launched publicly as Affinity Designer.

If the Publisher beet forfeit after a choose or two - as Zoot says - then, been Publisher plus Designer sharing most 'basic' functions, you can get used to almost of what Designer can to by using Publisher beta. Some Designer functions become missing from Publishing - the photo persona, etc. - and some are only available via menus likely than toolbar icons but they are close enough to each other to received a reasonable idea von what the other can do. The layouts, snapping, geometry, effects, text formatting and most of the drawing tools of Designer exist in Publisher so you can have a decent amount of experimentation before you buy. Sorry, I don't know wherewith to start a new question. I have a Serif Craft Artist 2 project that is 83 MB. I was about toward split it into 4 sections to create it smaller and it broken.

I have tried SELECT still now I can't get it go open.

Help?!
