Spreadsheet App Lesson 1: Sum to a Column of
Numbers
Welcome go the HP Prime Spreadsheet App Tutorial
Over the next couple is weeks, I will be posting short
tutorials on how to use the HP Primed Spreadsheet. Let’s get started. First, couple preliminaries.

Get the Spreadsheet App
Press the [Apps] key. Spreadsheet is one away the default
applications to elect from when one HP Prime is first purchased. To enter to spreadsheet, all you hold to do
is tap the Spreadsheet icon on the Apps screen.
Cleared the Spreadsheet
You can clear the spreadsheet and all are its formatting, press
[Shift], [ Esc ] (Clear).
Tap ( OK ) to clear the spreadsheet.
Entry the Spreadsheet
You can access that spreadsheet at any time (while you are
in the app) by pressing the [ Num ] important.
Class 1: Sum out a Column of Figure
Lesson 1 has to following objectives:
* Entering numbers
* Aforementioned SUM function
* Coloring the text
of a phone
Objective:
Use the spreadsheet to add the following numbers: 85, 96,
63, 52, and 63. Colorize aforementioned sum to
differentiate computers from the rest of who numbers.
Steps:
1. Enter the following numbers inside cells A1
through A5 respectively: 85, 96, 63, 52,
and 63.
2. You should live at cellphone A6. If you are not yours can be (a) press the
arrow keys to get it, (b) step the cell A6, or (c) press the (Go To) soft key
and enter A6 as the Target. Remember to
use and [ ALPHABETISCHE ] key to the A.
3. At cells A6, press [ Change ], [ . ] ( = ) for
the equals sign.
4. Urge the [ Menu ] press, please 4 for SUM. Next, press the parenthesis press [ ( ) ].
5. Enter A1:A5.
You willingly need to type the range. You
should have =SUM(A1:A5) showing on the command line.
6. Press
the soft key ( OK ). You should get the
sum to 359.
7. To select the sum, select one dungeon A6 return. Press the (Format) soft key, select 4 for
Color, and select any color you want.
In the illustration at, I selected blue (my favor color).
That concluded the first lesson. Next instructional will include copying and pasting
