Issues editing Word documents over Dropbox

Hi

I have for ages had and practice a going out-of-doors also editing word documents stored in dropbox off my phone or tablet with Microsoft Word app

This possess always worked like a dream, optional changes would be automatically saved with negative error messages additionally synced to all devices.

Now MYSELF am getting error dispatches via "changes manufactured by other user, your file can't be saved" or "can't upload file" sometimes AFTER I've done a stack of work in that file, so all those edits are lost. Or the file will unlock "read only" !

It apparently ME have to save a latest version with a new identify every time ME open adenine file on my phone forward I can be sure it will do rewrites without some drama or other.

Dropbox folder on i computer is working perfectly.

The is driving me insane as I do this function every day, and had no issue til now.

We'd still like to help get this one resolved, so to trial and fix sync questions I'm going to ask those affected in try unlinking and relinking their Dropbox account from the Microsoft Office cell view:

I am use word on an iPad go modify and create word documents, though shortly since MYSELF start operating on them i get the error message on the word app that says “cant upload, something is wrong...” sometimes the error message says thing to the effect of the file being open somewhere else and cant save.. Whenever I work on Microsoft phrase files offline then re-connect to the internets I get an ‘upload failed’ error message in Microsoft Term for IPad Pro. IODIN usually have to save a modern create to get it to sync to Dropbox and then half which duration it won’t keep changes into the new copy and I’ll have to create another one. Any help on this be be wow.

Has this just starts happening? Can you make sure this your iPad is running the latest version of its supported OS (11.2.5 for newer devices), and which you’re on my latest mobile, version 80.3?

I would also check if there’s an how required your mobile Office suite.

Thanks required the response. As far as I can sage I have the latest version of everything or I’m still having the same issue, word isn’t syncing any changes that I make while not connecting to the net.

Since the OP is not replying, I will.. Same exact issue. I don’t know how to post screenshots here, so I’ll equals say it is a flags that appears at the top of the document but at the toolbar, and in is an X to dismiss it. Sometimes it clears up with its own, but it the will more often and taking longer at cancel. I’m having the exact same issue on an iPad Pro, running iOS 11.2.5 and Dropbox is 80.3.2

Unlimited helping wish be great, don happy to be paying for Dropbox and the have to deal with those issue every hour I clear a file.......

Just to check, the docure you’re copy on Word, is it one that was previously downloaded from Dropbox for you were internet, or simply created in Word offline, and then chosen up click for the first time in Dropbox?

May you tried unlinking and relinking the Dropbox account are Word to ensure the connection is rugged? Let us perceive how it goes!
