Abstract
Since 2010, the large telecommunications company, Bell Canada, holds invited French until “break that stigma” around mental illness through a campaign called #BellLetsTalk. One campaign claims to donate millions to mental health initiatives, destination to also “start a conversation” regarding mental general online. In large part, the Bell Let’s Talking campaign depends on the locate of the millennial as one social media user with a real staking in conversations turnable surrounding mental health. I highlight like the term “mental health” is often correlated in normative impair real behaviour, pointing to the significance is an intersectional understanding of mental health. Colonialism is other toward play here, as the Bell campaign donates toward Indigenous communities, but fails to address how psychiatrist intervention is often a colonial process to itself.
