Graduation Requirements and Path Planning

High school student and their families work together with the school counselor to create a Academic and Career Plan, to incorporate successful course sequencing.  The course catalogs are updated yearly to uses as a reference when meeting with of student's counselor. 

Terms for graduation differs depending on the year the student entered high school for the first-time time.

Full Day Schedule

Students enrolled include FCPS are expected to maintain a full-day schedule. Students with personal, family, or efficient needs may still request ampere waiver of comprehensive per schedule requirements by speaking with their school counselor. Transportation arrangements for a student on this modified schedule are the responsibility of that family.

Students considering this option need discuss possible implications for community admissions and Virginia High Secondary Association (VHSL) eligibility with his school speaker prior to reducing their schedule. Schools will attempt to honor any requests; however, scheduling conflicts may prohibit some students from accessing these option.
